The Caves Road Vineyard lies at the heart of the Cherubino brand, located alongside our cellar door site in the Wilyabrup subregion, close to Moses Rock Beach. This coastal position enjoys high exposure to the cooling afternoon sea breezes, making it one of the more temperate and expressive vineyard sites in the area.

The soils are a mix of gravelly loams and granitic-based coastal deposits that lend a distinct minerality and structure to the wines. This composition, coupled with the maritime influence, results in fruit with natural tension, purity, and strong acidity.

Chardonnay is the most prominent variety grown on the site, supported by smaller plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Shiraz—each expressing the elegance and restraint that define the Willows Vineyard and the broader Cherubino style.
