As we step into 2026, it felt like the right moment to open something new.
Our first release of the year brings two wines made for the table — from a Syrah shaped in terracotta to a fresh, quietly expressive sparkling. Together, these releases reflect where we are — and where we’re heading — across vineyard, winery and table.

2024 Cotta Frankland River Syrah

Cotta reflects our shift toward lighter, vineyard-first winemaking. Thirty years ago oak was essential; today, with the quality of fruit we’re growing and the way we farm, it plays a far smaller role. Using less oak lets the sites speak more clearly.

Cotta fits the way people are drinking now—wines lighter in structure but not in flavour. It’s a restaurant-focused range built around purity, regionality and confidence in our fruit, and it marks the direction we’re taking across our winemaking.

This Syrah is farmed from blocks 4 and 7 of the Riversdale Vineyard in Frankland River, where gravelly soils and low yields shape fruit of precision and depth.

The wine shows dark berry and black spice, lifted by red florals and framed by fine tannin and a savoury, earthy line.

NV 'On the Fringe' Sparkling

Made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown at our Channybearup Vineyard in Pemberton, On the Fringe Sparkling is fresh, finely textured and quietly expressive.

The wine shows a light blush hue, bright stone fruit, subtle citrus blossom and brioche, with natural freshness and length. Crafted with a hands-off approach, it’s a wine that lets cool-climate fruit and season take the lead.

Easy to enjoy, but thoughtfully made — perfect for long lunches, summer evenings and moments worth opening something special.
